THE ELSBY FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Mark out and drill 6mm holes at approx 200mm hole centres on canopy flange
Offer canopy upto the wall and centralise above the door opening
Mark the wall through the pre-drilled holes checking the canopy is level
Remove canopy and drill and plug holes in the wall, then offer canopy to the wall and insert screws and appropriate screw caps
Tighten just to hold canopy against the wall, do not fully tighten the screws at this point
The curve brackets can be drilled either end of with a 5mm drill bit
Offer the brackets to the underside of canopy and wall, and mark where appropriate, you can then drill a pilot hole in the canopy soffit,
So when you affix the screws they have something to grip into, then drill and plug a 5mm hole in the wall, insert screws screw into the wall and soffit and tighten,
do not over tighten at this point.
When the canopy looks OK then tighten all screws evenly so not to crack the fibreglass
Once the canopy has been installed you can then run a bead of white silicone where the brackets and soffit meet and use a clear sealer on the roof section
where it meets the wall
To keep your canopy looking in top condition clean with warm soapy water
